Camping with the environment in mind

Environmental responsibility is a key focus in the campsite's operations. We therefore constantly strive to reduce our environmental and carbon footprint.

Measures implemented during ongoing renovations include sorting waste into ten categories, replacing all light bulbs with LEDs, and upgrading from wood-pellet boilers and electric radiators to more efficient systems.

Our tools are primarily electric-powered, and in 2026, we replaced our utility vehicle with an electric model.

Our large indoor pool, as well as most of our facilities and cabins, are heated using solar panels and heat pumps.

We recycle shower water for toilet flushing, and all taps are fitted with water-saving devices. Lighting sensors are installed in all service buildings, and both outdoor site lighting and the jumping pillow operate on timers. When we close the kiosk in the autumn, surplus goods are donated to local day centers and childcare facilities, and furniture is sent for recycling when replaced. New construction and renovations are carried out by reusing existing materials as much as possible.
